Ziyarat Aminallah

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَمِينَ اللهِ فِي أَرْضِهِ وَحُجَّتَهُ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ

As-salamu 'alayka ya Amina Allahi fi ardihi wa hujjatahu 'ala 'ibadih

Peace be upon you, O Trustee of Allah on His earth and His proof over His servants

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

As-salamu 'alayka ya Amira al-Mu'minin

Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Faithful

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ جَاهَدْتَ فِي اللهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ وَعَمِلْتَ بِكِتَابِهِ

Ashhadu annaka jahadta fi Allahi haqqa jihadihi wa 'amilta bi-kitabih

I bear witness that you strove in the way of Allah as He deserves, and you acted according to His Book

وَاتَّبَعْتَ سُنَنَ نَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ حَتَّى دَعَاكَ اللهُ إِلَى جِوَارِهِ

Wattaba'ta sunana nabiyyihi salla Allahu 'alayhi wa alihi hatta da'aka Allahu ila jiwarih

And you followed the traditions of His Prophet, may Allah bless him and his family, until Allah called you to His nearness

فَقَبَضَكَ إِلَيْهِ بِاخْتِيَارِهِ وَأَلْزَمَ أَعْدَاءَكَ الْحُجَّةَ مَعَ مَا لَكَ مِنَ الْحُجَجِ الْبَالِغَةِ عَلَى جَمِيعِ خَلْقِهِ

Fa-qabadaka ilayhi bi-ikhtiyarihi wa alzama a'da'aka al-hujjata ma'a ma laka mina al-hujaji al-balighati 'ala jami'i khalqih

So He took you to Himself by His choice, and made the proof binding upon your enemies, together with the conclusive proofs you have over all His creation

اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاجْعَلْ نَفْسِي مُطْمَئِنَّةً بِقَدَرِكَ رَاضِيَةً بِقَضَائِكَ

Allahumma faj'al nafsi mutma'innatan bi-qadarika radiyatan bi-qada'ik

O Allah, make my soul content with Your decree, satisfied with Your judgment

مُولَعَةً بِذِكْرِكَ وَدُعَائِكَ مُحِبَّةً لِصَفْوَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ

Mula'atan bi-dhikrika wa du'a'ika muhibbatan li-safwati awliya'ik

Devoted to Your remembrance and supplication, loving the chosen ones among Your friends

مَحْبُوبَةً فِي أَرْضِكَ وَسَمَائِكَ صَابِرَةً عَلَى نُزُولِ بَلَائِكَ

Mahbubatan fi ardika wa sama'ika sabiratan 'ala nuzuli bala'ik

Beloved in Your earth and Your heaven, patient in the face of the descent of Your trials

شَاكِرَةً لِفَوَاضِلِ نَعْمَائِكَ ذَاكِرَةً لِسَوَابِغِ آلَائِكَ

Shakiratan li-fawadili na'ma'ika dhakiratan li-sawabighi ala'ik

Grateful for the abundance of Your blessings, mindful of the profusion of Your bounties

مُشْتَاقَةً إِلَى فَرْحَةِ لِقَائِكَ مُتَزَوِّدَةً التَّقْوَى لِيَوْمِ جَزَائِكَ

Mushtaqatan ila farhati liqa'ika mutazawwidatan at-taqwa li-yawmi jaza'ik

Longing for the joy of meeting You, taking provision of piety for the day of Your recompense

مُسْتَنَّةً بِسُنَنِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ مُفَارِقَةً لِأَخْلَاقِ أَعْدَائِكَ

Mustannatan bi-sunani awliya'ika mufariqatan li-akhlaqi a'da'ik

Following the ways of Your friends, departing from the morals of Your enemies

مَشْغُولَةً عَنِ الدُّنْيَا بِحَمْدِكَ وَثَنَائِكَ

Mashghulatan 'an ad-dunya bi-hamdika wa thana'ik

Occupied from the world by Your praise and glorification
